It’s February!

Even though the days are getting longer it can sometimes feel like February is the longest winter month.

If you are feeling a bit discouraged and need a little pick me up to get you through to Spring, here are some suggestions to make sure your physical, emotional and social needs are met.

Get the sleep you need

Eat nutritious food and drink lots of water

Simple stretching can have big benefits

Recognize and enjoy any quiet moment

Socialize with friends of family

Don’t be afraid to ask for help

Celebrate all of your victories no matter how small

Sometimes hibernating at home and eating comfort food feels like just what the Dr. ordered but make sure you find a good balance.

Check out wpgforfree.ca for a list of kid friendly, free or low-cost activities that you might enjoy.
