SPEAKER:  Sean Matyas is a CVITP and Benefits Outreach Officer with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Sean joined the federal public service in 2017 and has held several positions within the Individual Returns Directorate. Sean joined the Outreach team in July of 2021, where he is responsible for community engagement and facilitating information sessions about the importance of income tax filing, and information about individual benefits and credits from the CRA.

 

PRESENTATION: Please join us for a presentation on different benefits and credits related to being a parent like; the Canada child benefit, disability tax credit (DTC), child disability benefit, childcare expenses, Canada dental benefit, Manitoba fitness amount, Manitoba children’s art amount and more. There will also be time for a Q&A on general tax related questions.
