SPEAKER: Julie Walsh holds a Master’s in Social Work and has practiced child and family therapy for almost 15 years, working primarily with children, youth, and adults involved with Family Services. Her focus on trauma, attachment, regulation, and reunification has led her to develop manuals, workshops, and training programs for a variety of government and non-profit agencies throughout Manitoba and Eastern Canada. In addition to her clinical practice, she uses her knowledge and experiences in working with families with complex needs to teach caregivers, professionals, and youth. Her work with families and professionals is grounded in the assumption that we are all doing the best we can, that we are all aspiring to do better, and that we are all continually evolving.
