I carry those teachings in my bundle\, my spirit\, my blood and my\nbones. I am truly grateful for this way of life.\nAs you may know I lived at Villa Rosa over 24 years ago as a young mother. I was\n17 when moved there and began my motherhood journey. I also went to school\nat APC when I had my daughter. I share this part of my story with you so you\nknow when I come and join your circles\, I come with experiential knowledge. I\nunderstand what’s it’s like to be a teenage mother and to reach out for supports\nin my community. I am grateful for Villa Rosa and APC for the guidance and\nkindness they’ve showed on my journey.
