In addition to her clinical practice\, she uses her knowledge and experiences in working with families with complex needs to teach caregivers\, professionals\, and youth. Her work with families and professionals is grounded in the assumption that we are all doing the best we can\, that we are all aspiring to do better\, and that we are all continually evolving. \n  \nPRESENTATION:  Adverse Childhood Experiences; Understanding the impact of developmental trauma.               \nThe impact of early childhood trauma can have far reaching effects on an individual and community level. Within this workshop we explore the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences on a child’s development and ways to enhance resilience. This workshop focuses on understanding how adverse childhood experiences can impact and shape a child’s behaviours\, regulation\, attachment\, and overall wellbeing.
