DESCRIPTION:Adolescent Parent Day Invitation \n\n\nAPIN is pleased to have Dene Guillas (He/they) presenting on Creating Inclusive Homes & Communities \n\n\nDene will be exploring How can we create spaces where 2SLGBTQIA+ children\, families\, friends and community members feel safe\, valued and like they belong. Dene will discuss Together challenging assumptions and stereotypes\, having age-appropriate conversations with children about gender\, identity\, families and difference\, and also modelling acceptance and inclusion in your home \n\n\nIn the afternoon there will be 3 breakout sessions hosted by Library services\, a photobooth\, and songs and drumming with Aj’a. \n\n\nAPD Schedule: \n\n\nDoors open at 9am- Breakfast served from 9:30-10:30 \n\n\nDene Guillas 10:30-11:30 \n\n\nHalloween Facepainting 11:30-12 \n\n\nLunch 12:00-1:00 \n\n\nBreakout sessions 1:00-2:30 \n\n\nParticpants who stay till the end will receive a goody bag \n\n\n\n\n\nregististration information: please email apin@apin.org \n\n\nInformation required to Register: \n\n\nService provider’s name and contact information\nOrganization\nHow many participants and babies/children will be attending from your organization (participants will sign in and provide their names at registration)\nMeal requests: If a vegetarian\, Vegan\, Or Gluten free meal is required\, please provide the attendee’s name with the corresponding meal request.
