Healthy Baby Program

The Healthy Baby program at Youville Community Health Centre encompasses a team of outreach workers, a clinical nurse, and a registered dietitian to support families who are expecting and have a baby up to age one. Our goal is to walk alongside parents as they navigate their parenting journey, and empowering them by offering support and resources within their community. Our program is proud to offer free prenatal classes once per season that covers topics such as  labour and delivery, pain management options, self-advocacy, feeding and postpartum care; in addition to our weekly ‘Baby and Me’ drop-in program in St. Vital that hosts guest speakers and covers a wide range of parenting topics. Parents can also access our free diaper program and community pantry upon request, and can make private 1:1 appointments with our outreach team for service navigation.

More details on our program can be found on our social media @youville.babyandme or by connecting with our Healthy Baby Outreach Workers, Charity and Robyn, by calling (204) 255-4840.
